Citizenship by investment for Afghan citizens
An Afghan national should treat Vanuatu as restricted until a designated agent says otherwise. Reports in October 2026 place Afghanistan on that list, sometimes with an exception for people who have lived outside Afghanistan for years. São Tomé has not published a ban we could verify. Neither statement is an acceptance. We confirm the current rule before any payment.

Can Afghans apply for citizenship by investment?
You can ask. You should not pay on the strength of this page. Vanuatu’s reported restricted list includes Afghanistan. The exception, where sources describe one, is long residence outside the country, and they do not agree how many years. São Tomé’s public material does not name Afghanistan. Its unit still excludes unnamed risk countries and screens the person.
Residency by investment is not the same file
A UAE Golden Visa, if a home qualifies, is residency. It does not replace a passport and it does not fix a restricted nationality on a citizenship programme. The three-bedroom list price is the Golden Visa conversation. The citizenship file is the other conversation, and for Afghan nationals it starts with whether the programme will even open it.
What is the minimum investment for this second passport?
The passport comes with the property. There is no additional charge for it. On the Deniz availability of 23 October 2026 the included price is the list price, not the cash discount. The lowest qualifying home is a one-bedroom, unit 208, at AED 1,387,999. The two-bedroom is AED 1,991,999. The three-bedroom starts at AED 2,298,999. Studios are not included. The heavier discounts are a different offer, without the passport.
Can I keep my current passport?
That is a question about the law of the country that issued your passport, not about Vanuatu or São Tomé. We are not your lawyer in that country. Do not give up a passport, or assume you may hold both, because a sales page said so.
How do I avoid a citizenship-by-investment scam?
A real file has a home, an escrow for the off-plan purchase, and a government that can say no. Walk away from anyone offering a passport for sale, a fast passport, or a guaranteed approval. We do not sell documents. The apartment is in Dubai Land. The citizenship decision sits with the programme.
