Can you get a passport by buying property in Dubai?
No. Buying property in Dubai does not give you a UAE passport or UAE citizenship. A home of about AED 2 million can be discussed for a 10-year Golden Visa, which is residency, not nationality. Does buying property in Dubai give citizenship?
No. The UAE does not grant citizenship to foreigners because they bought an apartment. Anyone who writes “Dubai passport for investors” or “UAE passport by investment” and means an Emirati passport is describing something this country does not sell. Walk away from that offer.
What do you actually get with a Dubai home?
You can own a freehold apartment in a designated area, live in it or rent it, and — if the value and the current rule allow — ask about a residence visa. That is a second passport, decided by those countries, not by Dubai.
Dubai property residency versus citizenship
Residency lets you stay. Citizenship is a nationality. A Golden Visa is the first. A UAE passport would be the second, and property does not produce it. Is a Dubai property agent who promises a passport legitimate?
