Dubai property and a second passport
Many people want both: a home in Dubai, and a passport that is not from the UAE. The home does not become the passport. At 09 Life Residences a qualifying apartment, from AED 1,387,999, includes a citizenship-by-investment file for Vanuatu or São Tomé & Príncipe. There is no extra charge for that file. Approval is still the programme’s decision, and it is not a UAE passport.
Can I live in Dubai and hold a second passport?
A residence visa lets you live in Dubai. A second passport is a nationality from another country. They can sit side by side if both governments allow it. Whether your own country allows a second citizenship is a question for a lawyer there, not for a property page.
What about Turkey, Grenada, St Kitts and the other real-estate programmes?
People compare Turkey citizenship by real estate, and the Caribbean real-estate routes in Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica and Saint Lucia. Minimums and nationality bans change, and this site does not sell those programmes. If you need one of them, use that government’s list of authorised agents and check it this month. What we can open is the Vanuatu or São Tomé file that comes with this home.
Which is the better use of the money?
A Dubai apartment is a home you can live in or rent, in a city people already use. A donation-only citizenship has no apartment. On this project you are buying the apartment, and the passport file is included in that price. It is not the cheapest citizenship on earth, and it is not a document sold on its own.
Second passport for people already living in the UAE
Pakistanis, Iranians, Bangladeshis and Afghans who already live in the UAE ask this often. Living in Dubai does not remove a programme’s nationality check. Iran and Afghanistan need extra care on Vanuatu. Say which passport you hold now, and we will say what this file can and cannot do before you pay.
